The Ridge School of Anne Arundel County

The Ridge School of Anne Arundel County is a private, full day and residential general education and related services program approved by the Maryland State Department of Education for students grades 8-12. Academic & Social-Emotional Needs

• Serves the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students with specific learning and emotional disabilities.
• Promotes the use of multi-sensory, brain-based instructional techniques to foster a successful learning environment.

Program Components

• Special education and general education programs for grades 8-12
• Average of seven students per classroom, with academic teacher and teacher's assistant in each class
• Multi-disciplinary treatment team approach
• Therapy services including: individual, group, family, speech, language and occupational therapy
